I think I write for the fence-sitter or the intellectually curious. Another question I ask myself is: will a liberal or constitutionalist want to share this piece with their friend from the right? If they feel comfortable doing so, my job is done.
That’s a great way to judge the efficacy of the piece, one that I will keep in mind whenever I write something for those on the other side of the argument.
I think Krishnadevaraya was a king of the Tuluva dynastry of Vijayanagara empire.
